Sawyer’s Ferry 2: Bishop Ridge (Cate Ashwood)

Rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m a big fan of Cate Ashwood’s „Sawyer’s Ferry“ series and was very happy to now get Logan’s story, who we’ve already met in Gage and Holden’s story „Alaska“.
The story of Logan and Jackson is a bit more physical than the first book and the feelings are slower developing. Both men are well descriped, although I would have loved to learn a bit more about Jackson’s brother. The side charaters are well developed and I really hope we get to read Witt’s story 🙂
Once again the author did a great job to give you the feeling for the small and secluded Alaskan towns and their inhabitants. The writing style is fluent and the editing very well done.
My only critique is the solution to Jackson’s situation of leaving. It feld a bit rushed and more like a HFN than a HEA, but perhaps we can see the development of their relationship in the following books to which I’m very looking forward to 🙂
